What Are the Best Christmas Gifts to Give?

Monday, September 29th, 2008

If you are one of the many people this Christmas season who have absolutely no idea what to buy for the people in your life that won’t end up returned after Christmas, this is the article for you. Learn how to buy something they want, or better yet, get them a gift card and spend the rest of the day enjoying time together.

Each year Holiday spending gets more and more excessive. Despite everyone saying that next year will be different, it seems like Christmas is spent cleaning up piles of wrapping paper and trying to fit stuff into cars. Everyone loves gifts (especially kids), but is that a reason to lose our minds every year at the mall?

Unfortunately, the majority of the population are unaware of what most people would like. The theory is that if you buy the person a lot of gifts, chances are they will like at least one of them. Do some research prior to choosing a person to date. Inquire of someone who is aware of what they desire. Ask the person a few probing questions throughout the year so when gift time comes you will have something to go on. This information should help you resist buying them unneeded trinkets and gadgets. If all these ideas do not work then there is nothing wrong with gift cards. You can make this personal in any number of ways. How about adding home made biscuits, or a card with a personal message that means something uniquely to them? Spending time with friends and family is more rewarding than any presents could ever be.

Many say that gift cards are impersonal, but think about it, isn’t buying someone something they don’t need or want impersonal too? Gift cards are a great back-up plan when research and questioning have failed to provide you with any ideas. For the most part people either don’t know what they want, or they don’t know how to express it. There are lots of ways to give pleasure to this group. Here is a great site for some personalised gift ideas for everyone.

Pay Per Click

Saturday, September 27th, 2008

Pay per click or PPC advertising is possibly the easiest and most effective way to market your business online. Getting your website listed in the search engines is vital due to the fact that the majority of website traffic (statistics say over 80%) comes from the search engines. Effective PPC management begins with devising a strategy to drive qualified traffic to your website.

PPC (PPC) advertising is simply advertising your website through the use of the search engines’ “sponsored listings”. When using PPC you bid on keywords or keyword phrases that your targeted prospects may use to find whatever your website offers. Yahoo! Search Marketing (formerly known as Overture) for instance, only considers the bid amount in ranking a site. The most popular PPC Google Adwords uses bid value and your success (click through) rate.

To develop a your PPC strategy and plan, you must conduct market research. This should consist of identifying your target market (preferably a niche market), identifying keywords that your target market uses to search for what you are offering, and analyzing the keywords and alternative keywords that will appeal to your target market.

During your keyword analysis, you will want to find out how popular keywords are and what the average bids are for certain keywords you are considering for budgeting purposes since defining a budget is a necessary part of PPC management.

Budgeting for PPC advertising involves not only determining how much money you can spend on your campaign, but basing that on the monetary value of a click to your website since you are paying per click.

Your conversion rate, the number of unique visitors divided by the number of sales, plays an important role in determining the value of a click to your site for PPC advertising budgeting purposes as does the average net profit per sale. By dividing your net profit per sale by your conversion rate, you can accurately determine the value per click to your website. The price per click that you pay for your PPC advertising should not, of course (!!!) exceed this value.

So if your selling a product that gives you a £10 profit, and a particular keyword takes 50 visitors to create a sale you would bid no more than £0.20 per click to break even.

A few tips about PPC if you DIY.

1. Don’t put more money than you have to into your account – sounds obvious but….!

2. Test, test, test have at least two separate ads for the same product at the same time. Drop the lower performing adverts and add a new one until you are satisfied with the results.

3. Make sure to keep up with your results daily at the very least and adjust your strategy according to results.

4. Continue to look for new keywords and as you find new ones lose the poorer performers.

If you approach PPC advertising logically, follow the direct marketing mantra of test, test, test, monitor results regularly and make adjustments only according to results PPC advertising is a powerful tool for driving profitable traffic to your site.

Saturday, September 27th, 2008

When you are a single guy in Birmingham could be lonely. Being without a wife means you do not get to have a beautiful date with you when you go to corporate parties, family shindigs or even sit in and watch a comedy movie with someone. When you are Footloose and Fancy Free it will often be lonely. All that is why guys enjoy call girls. Women call girls are wonderful and delightful and a whole lot of joy. Women call girls might often accompany you to business functions and if you find a pleasing escort to be your date you can often be sure of the envy of your colleagues. Women escorts in London are of a much higher calibre than anywhere else in the UK. The reason is simply that there are more escorts here. Call girls in London are clever and have sophistication. The price of a gorgeous escort will vary, some escorts can often charge per hour whilst others are usually per day or even week. People should expect to pay between three hundred pounds and six hundred pounds. The top price can often get lads the most fierce escort in the city. Men should regularly give the escort the money immediately on first meeting, this is common practise. So do not be nervous and try an incredible escort this year.

Blackjack — when to Hit

Thursday, September 25th, 2008

Online casino Blackjack is a quick, fun, and exciting casino game, but don’t be fooled by it’s apparent simplicity-sometimes it’s tough to know when to get that next card. Kind of like poker, but more random!

It’s tempting to go a little overboard here, because you really want that 21. I understand. But use your head, because the last thing you want to do is bust-make that dealer work for it.

-If you’ve got a 9 or lower, obviously hit. You know for sure the next card can’t bust you here.

-If you’ve got a 10 or 11, you’ve got a choice to make. Double down if the dealer’s up card is less than 10. If the dealer’s got a 10 or Ace, just hit.

-If you’ve been dealt anything from 12 to 16, it’s time to look at the dealer. One of the sweetest rules of blackjack states that the dealer has to hit if his cards don’t add up to at least 17, meaning that he has a decent chance of busting if he’s got, say a 14, 15, or 16. So if you’re stuck with a questionable hand like a 12, see if the dealer’s up card is lower than seven. If he does, you know he’ll have to hit at least once, so stay and pray that he’ll bust.

What Great Things Can Help to Reduce Hair Loss in Males

Wednesday, September 24th, 2008

The most depressing part of loss of hair for guys is that there is no sure fire miracle. Baldness has been a great issue for chaps in the world but there are awesome things that will probably prevent further loss of hair.

There is a lotion based treatment for baldness called Minoxidil that will often be taken in tablet or topical lotion form and will probably help boys regrow their hair and prevent further loss of hair. The topical lotion comes in a variety of strengths with three percent being the most popular. The loss of hair treatment is used under the watchful eye of a pharmacist and should be made aware that the hair loss treatment is not a fantastic miracle cure. However, the magnificent success of this treatment is around two thirds. The hair loss treatment medication course is a minimum of two months before super results will often show and all ladies are recommended to stay on the hair loss treatment for at least 9 months to a year.

For lads that do not observe any hair growth with the hair loss treatment they can often try baldness surgery. Hair loss surgery is a long term solution and involves transplanting the hair follicles on the scalp to minimise bald areas. Hair plugs can be expensive and involves a surgical procedure so may not be for every guy. Hair Loss treatments are available from Advanced Hair Studio.

Make Mistakes! It’s Okay – Really!

Monday, September 22nd, 2008

When you fall, do you get right back up? Do you learn from your mistake and move on? Or do you kick yourself so hard in the butt that you just mope around for days in your PJs and wonder why you’re so miserable? Come on! Get a grip!

Okay, okay, that was uncalled for, but seriously, the more mistakes you make, the more you learn. The more you learn the more you grow and the more likely you’ll be a future bright star in the sky.

When you were a young growing child, how were you supposed to know the oven was hot? Or that you can’t put metal in the microwave? Or that when you say something impolite you’ll hurt someone’s feelings? You would have either experienced these things first hand, or you were taught that these were all things to avoid.

Mistake Anxiety

A constant fact of life is that we all make mistakes. What varies is how we all handle a self-inflicted setback. Some get angry; others get upset, while others encounter the wretched beast known as denial (What mistake? It wasn’t me!).

Just like we mentioned in a previous article: “The Key’s in the Hole. Now turn it!”, it’s important to take a chance! If you make a mistake, at least you turned the key and made a valiant attempt. If you were too terrified of turning the key, you never would have known whether you would have been successful or not! And you couldn’t have possibly made a mistake to learn from!

I mean, how can you learn without messing up every once in a while? You need to make a mistake to learn. If you did everything perfectly, then you’ll never know the right strategy from the wrong.

Are You a Leader?

Then there’s a whole other set of people who admit to their mistakes, acknowledge that they stumbled, but they go right into contingency mode. I mean, so you screwed up, so what? It’s not the end of the world is it? The Earth will still be in orbit and mosquitoes will still be biting the hell out of your legs. It’s not a question of: “I screwed up, give me pity”, it’s a question of: “Okay, I slipped-up, but this is what I’m going to do about it…”

The best leaders out there are the ones who made the most mistakes but learned from them. The ones that never discovered or acknowledged their faux pas never made it into the business world and never made a difference in their own life, or the world.

Young Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Josh Towers went 0-12 last season between Baltimore and its Triple-A club. Last year as the Jays’ fifth starter he went 8-1. Quite the turn around from just a year ago! Josh Towers, the winning Jays’ pitcher in the last game of the season, said:

“You can’t succeed without failing. I failed. I learned a lot from that.”

Now go out there and pitch a perfect game in your life. You might fail once. Or twice. Or ten times. But just remember, each failure brings you closer to a glowing success.

Where Are You Going This Year?

Friday, September 19th, 2008

“The world stands aside to let him pass who knows where he is going” – David Starr Jordan.

The year was ushered in with great jubilation as is always the tradition. It is always exciting seeing a new year and the excitement is understandable. But once the euphoria is gone, the question should be, “What next?” Most people forget to ask this question and are over engaged with eating and jubilating. This is not supposed to be so. The New Year is another opportunity to start again, to make a fresh attempt at life.

Dearest, you have to take heed of an aimless life this year. You cannot afford to live the year without an aim or a goal as you wish to call it. If you have being living without an aspirations in the past years, this year should be an exception. You cannot afford to live 365 days of the year without aiming at something meaningful. You cannot afford to get to the end of the year and not be able to point at something important that you have achieved this year. I don’t know if there is any word worst than disaster, but that will describe your inability to achieve anything worthwhile in the year.

The man without a purpose never leaves his mark upon the world. He has no individuality; he is absorbed in the mass, lost in the crowd, weak, wavering, incompetent. His outlines of individuality and angles of character have been worn off, planed down to suit the common thought until he has, as a man, been lost in the throng of humanity. Beloved, I won’t want you to fit into this description at all that is why this clarion call is coming to you. Most people are lost and it is very pitiable that they don’t realize it until when it is too late.

Somebody said, “The man who succeeds above his fellows is the one who early in life clearly discerns his object, and towards that object habitually directs his powers. Even genius itself is but fine observation strengthened by fixity of purpose. Every man who observes vigilantly and resolves steadfastly grows unconsciously into genius.” Another said, “If you don’t have any overall major purpose, you are wasting the better portion of your life. The wear and tear of living isn’t worth it unless you are going somewhere.”

Do you have a picture of what you want to do this year? Do you have a major purpose in life? If December 31st 2006 arrives, what will you say you achieved in 2006? When people are taking stock of the year 2006, what will you say about your achievements? Will you congratulate yourself or be ashamed of your accomplishments in the year 2006? The choice is yours! My only plea is that you shouldn’t allow any moment of the year to fritter away. It holds a lot of promises for those who have something to live for every day of the year.

Let me close by sharing this quote with you: “No man is fit to win, who has not sat down alone to think; and who has not come forth with purpose in his eyes, with white cheeks, set lips and clenched palms, able to say: ‘I am resolved what to do.’”

Are you resolved on what to do this year? Are you still basking in the euphoria of the New Year? You still think the year is young for you to start out? Common! Wake up and do something!

It is a challenge for you to succeed this year and it is my prayer that you will succeed. I want to be part of those that will rejoice with you at the end of the year.

This is to your sucess.

My Journey

Thursday, September 18th, 2008

I believe it’s important for you to develop a mission statement for your life; one that is unique and articulates your values, goals, dreams; how you want to live.

Your mission statement is a living, breathing testimony of the life you are committed to living. It is also a way to pull yourself back from the darkness when you are feeling lost in the minutiae of misery.

I read my mission statement every morning and it grounds me and reminds me what is important and how I want to be that day. I have not shared this with others before now, because it is intensely personal, but I thought I would share it in this article, in hopes that you will write your own mission statement as one of the first steps in your own sacred journey.

MY JOURNEY by Dr. Tim Sams

I will live with the courage of an open heart, free of convention or expectation.

I will feel passionate about what I do and how I live.

I will shed the toxic and be healed by me and what I bring into my life.

I will feel as one with Mother Earth and my tribe.

I will merge my creative loving energy with others and make fire.

I will learn and mature in wisdom and encourage others to follow their unique path.

I will squeeze every drop of joy and playfulness that I can from Life, then release my exhausted body to the earth and my grateful spirit to the winds.

May the universe then know: I lived with purpose; I loved with passion; I laughed often.

* * *

I hope you have a glorious and loving week. Be as good to yourself as you are to others.

Good light,

Buy Viagra – Erectile Dysfunction, Online Pharmacy Meds Online

Thursday, September 18th, 2008

Cheap Viagra

You want to get something that will help you to achieve an erection, and you’re not really sure how much it will cost you. First when you start to believe you may be having erectile dysfunction problems you should always go to the doctor. He will examine you and ensure that you are not suffering from any other problems.

The doctor will also need to decide if you are able to take, say Viagra, or if you will need some other sort of medicine. Viagra was one of the first if not the very first pill that was put out to help with erectile dysfunction problems. You know the “little blue pill”; it’s popular all over the world for its known help it has given to billions of men, and yes women!

If your doctor feels that you have no cardiovascular problems that may cause a problem with you taking Viagra, he or she will surely give you a prescription for the medicine. If you want to find cheap Viagra all you really need to do is to go online and check out one of the many online pharmacies that are available out there to purchase from.

Most of these pharmacies will charge you a reasonable amount and at times an even cheaper price then you may be able to get Viagra at your own local pharmacy. But you need to compare each place, making sure that it is a reputable place, and one that will stick by any guarantees that it offers to you.

Cheap Viagra is all over the place though, and you should be able to find at least one location to purchase it from. What you need to make sure is that you are aware of all the side effects that you may suffer, and when you need to call a doctor if certain side effects bug you while taking Viagra.

Viagra has been around for a long time now, and is the first of its kind out. Many marriages have probably been saved from boredom by the man going out to his doctor and getting the prescription. Now with many online pharmacies offering the cheaper Viagra, it’s even more productive to helping out marriages.

Again when taking any kind of prescription make sure that you are aware of side effects. If you happen to experience something that is odd, or not even on the side effect list make sure to contact your doctor to ensure your safety. Safety is first in your care.
